I was looking down your fic-list - and when I saw that you had a Spike\torchwood crossover, it was too exciting to pass up:)
Hee. It wrote itself...

I have been yearning to watch Torchwood ever since James joined it, but sadly I dont get it on my telly:(
Oh poor you. It is so weird actually having a programme I don't have to worry about - all American shows are dependant on someone over here picking them up.

the story was really well written, I loved all the BtVS\AtS referances.
Thank you! 'Twas a lot of fun.

you mention vampire-DNA as something special. but vampires are merely reanimated corpses. wouldnt their DNA then be perfectly human?
I don't know, to be honest. But their bodies don't decompose and have accelerated healing capacities - this is obviously a magical thing, part of whatever binds the demon to the body, but could it be detected scientifically? I'm sure Owen & Tosh would like to try.

I also think Spike overreacted a bit to Jacks care when they first met. I mean, he was just being nice. why bite his head of? (although not literally...:) )

I think it was confusion, swiftly turned into anger and over-reaction because he knew Angel was watching and would never let him hear the last of it. (If Jack had been a *girl* he might have gone the other way...).

perhaps that scene could have been a little smuttier - having Jack trying to make out or something, so that Spike had more reason to be offended?
That is a thought, although do people make out when they're holding someone they think is dying? Well it *is* Jack, so that is actually a possibility... *g*

Anyway, thank you lots for your feedback, it's nice when someone actually thinks about things more deeply. (I should probably also point out that this story was written to be crack...)
