Such a cute story! You have managed to convince me that Buffy/Jack makes sense. Huzzah! It makes so much sense that I'm sure that sooner or later Jack=the Immortal will be accepted by fandom at large. :)
Though I can imagine him wearing leather pants; poor Buffy! It'll never end well! :D Hee! Well he's certainly worn leather before (end of S1 of DW comes to mind), but it wouldn't go with his current image, so I think Buffy is safe. ;)

Love the night-time picnic and the stars. I wanted something that's not really been done before (in canon), and also I thought that Jack might want to share *some* part of himself, since he can't tell her the truth.
Gee, wonder who Jack was talking about? *giggles* This is one of those perfect instances where the truth sounds like something made-up, and Jack of course uses that. (It's much easier than remembering a cover story!)
