But about your point - I get what you're saying absolutely, and (I hope, I don't know if I succeeded) it's sort of what I was trying to explain - why I found the soul journey more interesting that the alternative. Which is of course what the whole thing comes down to - what story we like. I really, really hope I haven't put opinions you don't have into your mouth at any point - and if I did it was pure accident! (I did consider calling this 'Why I Love Canon' or something similar. *g*)
