Go read this now!!!!!!

I'm writing this just in case there is someone on my flist who's not reading Three Deep, a virtual AtS S6/BtVS S8. The first chapter Alley Oops is now up, and it blew me away completely and totally. I am so in awe of these writers, and if the rest is only half as good I'll still be glued to my seat. The characters and plot all leaped off the screen, and the advantage of fanfic over actual tv is of course that we're also treated to all the internal conflicts and struggles. Ideally I want this as a big hard-backed novel. *sigh* Just go read and friend the LJ ([livejournal.com profile] virtual_ford) as this is probably the easiest way to keep up.

It so happens that I've known one of the writers in a virtual way for quite a while now and she tells me that she thinks the second chapter is stronger than the first. The wait is going to be awful.

I need to print it all out really and who cares about the expense of the ink!

Heh. I ended up just skimming it because that chapter was waaaaay too long for me. Maybe I'll just have to print it out, since I don't like having to spend so much time reading a fanfic on the computer. I did like the part at the end about Buffy, though.

I've printed it out already! I very rarely print out fic, but I figured this was an exception! (Although - 24000 words...)

I did a word count, and it's 24000 words!!! Long enough to be a fic in it's own right... and Buffy is awesome! :)
