It's interesting to see how, even though they're both automatically opening up to each other far more than they ever would to most people, there are still large secrets they're holding onto. For Buffy, the fact that her background is even more complicated than she's explained thus far and the fact that she knows *exactly* the erotic benefits of vampires (both biting and in bed), and for Jack, the entire other life and the fact that he isn't several centuries old but that there was time-travel involved.
There is also the fact that they don't *need* to share any more secrets - there is a sort of unspoken agreement that they just understand each other and don't go delving into their dark pasts.

The realization that they have *specific* vampires in common should be fun.
