I'm having visions of Team Slayer encountering Team Torchwood in Cardiff *looks shifty* I miiiight be planning a epilogue set in Cardiff, 2008...
Hellmouths that are Rifts and Rifts that are Hellmouths and it is all Very Disturbing. You made me think! I mean, I was thinking about it *anyway*, but... the Rift is a rift in time and space, but with in the same universe. (What with the Doctor continually going on about the walls between dimensions being SEALED OFF COMPLETELY!) My theory is that Hellmouths are ancient portals to different dimensions, that - being ancient - work by magic. (There will be more thoughts about magic and its role within the fic itself, or I'd go on for a LOT longer.)
