Our first Christmas together as a married couple. Also the last Christmas ever, of course.
Loving the opening effect, very matter-of-fact.

I liked the way you used the events of Runaway Bride, and also the bits from classic episodes. Your insight over the moment when he just looked at photos of his former prison was very nice. I liked the bits about Lucy's father, and smiled at the Master "chiding himself for never marrying before". And how proud and delighted that made Lucy… it was so very moving, how crucial his approval was to her, how special it made her feel. And I loved the way she viewed her role, small, but important, being at his side, his confidante, making sure everything went smoothly. And how she felt like she'd always be meant for this… That whole paragraph was really great.
Loved Year Zero and how surreal it felt for Lucy to see people talking excitedly about the future, not knowing what she knew. Pointlessness again, and this time it almost made her laugh… She'd become so in-between really, still small and human, but having seen humanity for all it really was—belonging in neither world in a way, having nothing but the Master, entirely wrapped around him. And she called him "my Master" again. Each time I find it a bit creepy and yet powerful—and I suppose it's another mirror to all the people who say "my Doctor"… ;)
