I know I have comments to reply to, but...
I'm sure you've all heard the news about Doctor Who now - how there'll be no series in 2009 because Tennant will be doing Shakespeare instead. The upside is of course that Tennant obviously wants to continue as Ten, which fact is cheering me muchly. Also, of course, there are macros. The best one I've seen so far is this one - I really do adore the Who-fandom:

lady1raven. Unexpected Naked Jack is one of my favouritest things ever! :)
And since I'm here, a couple of fic recs:
moodfic wrote Sugar This Up (Martha Jones & family). A moving look at their life post-S3.
And
selenak wrote a fabulous Torchwood/Dr Who/DS9 crossover: Nowhere Man (only one character from DS9, and he's easily googleable). Spoilers for S3 of DW and S1 of Torchwood (obviously), but if you're up-to-date you should really, really go read. Proves perfectly how Torchwood has endless untapped potential.
ETA: Anyone else having problems with IJ? It won't load for me at all! It's fine now. But thanks for the help! :)

That's what I thought too. The fact that RTD is leaving after Season 4 does give them a bit of time to let someone else settle in as showrunner too.

Terrific wasn't it. I didn't think it would matter *too* much if you didn't know DS9 as the Torchwood/Dr Who stuff is so fascinating.

Oooh I didn't know that. That'll be... interersting.

I'm so glad you rec'd it. Have friended her now, so I won't miss any future terrificness. :)

I think that's right. I'm sure I've seen it mentioned in several places so I presumed it was true (possibly a dangerous thing to do).

Her fic and meta is always terrific and I say that as someone who has been reading it for nearly 10 years (can it really be that long - it's almost before the internet was invented *g*).

Oh it's probably true. I'm forever picking stuff up from my friends-list - any news is usually there before anywhere else!

Wow. I've read bits and pieces of hers for a good while - mostly I'm worried that she'll be too distracting!
ETA: Grrr. Stupid formatting.
