Well I neglected everything and everyone yesterday... including my WIP. *sigh* Incidentally I think you'll really like my WIP - it focusses on Spike and Angel attempting to undo W&H's power, and also how destiny and rewards and all that fits in. Which reminds me (again) that I ought to read your essay.
