I don't really know what to say, 1 year in.
But maybe the weird intersection of my Tumblr feed illustrates it perfectly.
This post popped up on my dash and - seeing the photo first, before any context - my immediate thought was: 'This looks like a small Palestinian kid. Oh God, please let them still be alive.'
Turns out, it's a childhood photo of Jayden Revri who plays Charles in Dead Boy Detectives.
But that is the legacy: Dead children.
Except of course it didn't start on 7th of October 2023. The Nakba has been ongoing for 76 years...
