I was talking to somebody at work and he was like 'it's reached the point where I could be walking down the road and a pterodactyl swoops down and snatches somebody up and I'd just be like 'right, that happened.''

OTOH, looked at the forecast and suddenly we're expecting 3-6 inches of snow tomorrow!?!!?? It's been over 50 degrees for a week now. Please, please, please, please, please. Tomorrow off would be brilliant.

'Sfunny, I sort of have the opposite feeling? Like...it all seems so inevitable in retrospect? Maybe we didn't see it in advance, but none of it is surprising? Given our society's pathologies, it was inevitable that things would unfold this way? What else could possibly have happened?
