Year 2 of Lockdown, Day 88
Via... several people I think. How to not cause kerfuffles online:

I have been pondering the fact that you can literally get (fanmade, very unofficial) T-shirts saying ‘I don't need antidepressants, I just listen to Dimash’ (x). Now obviously music is not a substitute for medication, but there is certainly truth to the fact that beauty helps mental health. To just… turn off the news and distance yourself from the mess and pain of the world, and instead fall into beauty and wonder... So, here is today's song to take you away.
Daily Dimash: Love is Like a Dream
At the "A gift for Alla" concert (for the anniversary of Alla Pugacheva in Moscow, on the 8th of April 2019) Dimash performed Igor Krutoy's song 'Love is Like a Dream'. Mr. Krutoy (as is often the case, considering their many collaborations) accompanied Dimash on the piano. There are closed captions, but even without them the song takes you on a journey. One of the reactors I link to below puts it perfectly: "Dimash, you are tearing my soul apart."
It is such a beautiful piece. ♥ But a fan took another performance (I've posted the original under the cut) and isolated Dimash's voice, thus turning it into an a capella song and I just. *hands* His voice in is just mesmerising; otherworldly; ethereal; I can't describe it.
Other performances:
This is the one the a capella version is created from:

And here is another one with Igor Krutoy:

Let's have some reactions too, why not!
This guy (Mad Hatter Reactz) had literally never heard Dimash before, so this song was his first experience:
And here is H of the Stage (vocal coach/musician), one of my go-to reactors who is always quality. He is very knowledgeable and is very good at explaining what Dimash is doing:

Nowadays, it's difficult to post anything online without someone dropping by your mentions to let you know that you royally fucked it up. To help, I've made this handy disclaimer that you can attach to anything you post! pic.twitter.com/dvGRiaDMU3
