lol I wish. And I don't even watch the show. But nah- from what I saw in the clip it's Castiel confessing his feelings, Dean giving a half cardboard- half cringe/blank look in response, and then Castiel being instantly thrown down a flaming tunnel into Hell while he's on fire.

I should clearly have clarified - I watched the clip so know that all that happened was the declaration and befuddled WTF? before Castiel gets sucked into Super Special Hell. I guess I am just hoping for some sort of rescue thing in the last two episodes (where a kiss could then conceivably happen, although considering that Jensen Ackles is apparently homophobic I'm not holding out hope...)

Ah well, as you say the reaction on its own has been fabulous. <3

Yeah, Destiel became canon - with two episodes left in the final series so fans will never actually see them in a relationship. *claps slowly* I feel like I did about the gay couple in Praxeux in S12: this is great but it took way too long and it's not nearly enough. (Never watched Supernatural, just know about it from former fandom friends.)
