Belly Mujinga, a congolese woman living in London, was spat at by someone who had COVID-19, whilst working at Victoria station😭 she later fell ill with the virus and died, the charges of this case have been dropped so we need #JusticeforBellyMujinga 🤎

Another great piece of artwork -- such freedom in it!

I had not heard of the spitting incident but I had been wondering during March if, in fact, someone could be tried for murder for infecting someone, even if they didn't know they had the virus. I was trying to remember what had happened during the AIDS crisis and I couldn't recall a case of prosecution for murder (even 3rd degree).

That infection number sure does tell a story, doesn't it.

I am 100% going to keep posting art works. The only problem is that there are SO MANY. (Even though I am currently solely posting works by black women. SO MANY.)

I know they have certainly arrested people for it. The problem in this case is finding the suspect. I REALLY hope they open the case up again.

People aren't outraged because they don't know how bad it is, I think. Honestly I'm disgusted and upset about the whole thing. We've all done OUR bit to try and flatten the curve but the government did sod all.

My God, I knew Johnson and Drumpf were alike, but their handling of this crisis is horrific! In this one instance, Johnson might be slightly worse (just slightly) since he had the disease and presumably almost died from it and he's still not treating it as seriously as required.

That story is so sad!

Are we surprised ... nope. My area is pretty good - people are keeping a decent distance from each other in the supermarket and walking around. Apart from small groups of teens that are not really doing it in parks. How is it round your way.

Mmmm. I think the problem with Johnson is that he is deeply DEEPLY out of his depth. So he is clinging to people like Cummings, because he doesn't have a clue how to actually do his job.

Pretty similar. Again, groups of teens are probably the main culprit, otherwise people are pretty good. And the college (where I work) are very good, and have only just opened up for a tiny handful of students, and have tried to make all campuses comply with social distancing rules, created one way systems and lots of hand sanitiser stations etc. (I know this from the Principal's weekly updates, staff are only allowed in by prior arrangement.) I'm not generally a huge fan our our principalship, but they've done well in their response.
