I've only just completed the first episode, but I probably wouldn't even have thought about watching this if you hadn't brought it up. (I think I vaguely heard about its addition to Netflix). However Agatha sold me on it within the first minute of her appearance.

I will have to wait on the vid since it was pretty clear just from that episode that there are going to be some good twists in the series.

I loved about... three quarters of it? Episode 3 felt a bit rushed. I think it would have benefitted from one more episode to flesh out the 20th century characters but it was FASCINATING.

I would have been VERY happy with more. Although I mostly wanted the modern characters (Lucy excepted) to go away so we could get to the interesting parts. :)

Yeah, that's my point - if you're going to introduce new characters, give them some time to develop, or what's the point in having them there? (I might be talking about Doctor Who as well. *cough*)

I really like Moffatt's writing but there's so much hate on tumblr from ppl who got disillusioned with his Who eps bitching it put me off.

IT SURE IS! And the BBC & Netflix released different trailers and the youtube comments were hilarious. Loads were like 'This Netflix one is all dark & scary, but then the BBC trailer makes it seem like a comedy, what is this show???' and I had to laugh, because clearly they'd never come across Moffat before...
