Stuff?

I found this really cool collage thing looking through a friend's flist - basically it's all my friends' default icons. Behind cut, because very bad for dial-up!

Feeling blah and sick at the moment, so being rather non-commenty... sorry. I'm here, really! Also this week was half term, so I had the children all day, every day. *sigh* They're wonderful of course, but I'm looking forward to monday very, very, very much! Also cheering me up is this pretty icon made by [livejournal.com profile] sandy_s. :)

There is seem to be a common theme through your flist! ;)

Hope you'll feel better soon!

I hope you're feeling better soon. *hugs*

Half term starts on Monday for my children. The only good thing about it is not having to get up quite so early in the mornings. I'll be insane by the end of the week. :)

I really like that collage thing--and your (newish?) layout!

Hope you're feeling better soon and move past the morning sickness part. Unless you're like one of my friends who had it the entire pregnancy! Eek.

*hugs*

Poor thing! Every sympathy, both with the sickness and the kids. I still have the joy of half term to come ::shudder::

Soon be Monday. Meantime make considerate husband take the kids, put your feet up, drink peppermint tea for the nausea and wallow!

((hugs))

Ooo! Pretty collage! :)

I'm sorry to hear that you're sick! *hugs* I hope you feel better soon!

All those icons really do make a pretty collage. And there's mine! Hee!

I haven't been commenting very much lately, either. In fact, I meant to comment on the last chapter of your fic, but I couldn't come up with any interesting way to say that I liked it. And that kiss in the beginning was very hot, too. :)

Hope you'll feel better soon!

Yep, it is. I recently made one of those Portrait Illustrator icons and found a photo was helpful to match to. It was rather fun doing, I made one for Mike too :>

*Blushes* I've been told I'm photogenic -- repeatedly. In other words the camera fibs somewhat ;D

Well, your husband does have a point. I'm guessing that's why a lot of folks use the PIM avatars instead of photos, other than the fact that you've just spent an age assembling it and it's fun to use! Mike says it looks a lot like me but I doubt anyone would actually recognize me from it.

Of course for that matter photos can make people less identifiable than one might suppose too. Our school has a big distance education program and as a result created individual bio and photo spaces for all the students for more of a community feel. When I teach I often have photos of about half my students. It does help me learn their names faster given that I'm sitting in a classroom looking at them for an hour. But if I was just trying to recognize them walking around the building some of the photos wouldn't be as helpful.
