Aaah. Yes, I get you now. And it has amused me that Twelve & Ten's final lines were basically exact opposites.
Like, Ten's final line was perfect for him, but he was broken and everything was sad and lonely. (ETA: 'He always says that...' <- Love it that they made fun of it!) Anyway, then Moffat came and fixed everything and now the whole 'verse has been fixed, Gallifrey is back, the Time Lords are jerks and the Doctor is a renegade who is running away. And the new Doctor started life with the word 'Brilliant!'.
