"I didn't! But it was the perfect quote, so you got it. Am thrilled that you know the context too! (Buffy & Angel were my first fandom.)"

All the same, It was fun to see Wesley even though it reminded me that everyone of the main characters died by the end of show.:( Angel was technically a dead man already so he doesn't count. Torchwood also covered similar ground.

In regards to Gwen and Rose. They where both written by Rusty, so they do have some character traits in common when it came to love. In Torchwood everything is more explicit,(violence and sex) so I think Rusty decided he could go more further with Gwen.

Where as Moffat tends to write female characters who are very confident in their sexuality. Sally Sparrow's the only one I can think of that isn't defined by sex. That's the only reason I can find that explains Amy being so "forward" with the Doctor, besides her life being compromised by him and the "crack" in time.

Rose wasn't exactly innocent. Didn't the first episode start with her moving back in with her mum because of a failed relationship with an older man?. Although she could have been waiting for the Doctor to make it official before she would go there?.

Buffy: Love makes you do the wacky (The one I most remember)

Spike: You're not friends. You'll never be friends. You'll be in love till it kills you both. You'll fight and you'll shag and you'll hate each other till it makes you quiver, but you'll never be friends. Love isn't brains, children, it's blood. Blood screaming inside you to work its will. I may be love's bitch, but at least I'm man enough to admit it. (One of my favorite's).

Sorry I can't do pictures.:(
