My mum and I use to watch "Charmed" and "Merlin" together. When we did a rewatch of "Charmed", my brother watched it with us as well. So it's not that my mum's not into that genre, but I think it depended on the dynamic's from those shows. I know they both have "magic" in common both I think she enjoyed watching them for the importance of family and how relationships impacted on individuals. "Freaky creatures" weren't featured on these show's as often as "Doctor Who".

The funny thing was when I was watching "Chuck", she ended up watching the last two seasons with me. Sometimes I don't know when we will have the same TV viewing habits.

Anyway thanks for the link to malsperanza, I always appreciate it when people explain the show in more depth. I don't just watch "Doctor Who" for entertainment purposes.

"It was the hair that did it. :)"

OK. I'm not sure the evolution of Chuck's hair will meet your expectations but I hope you do enjoy the rest of what the show has to offer. Just see how you go. Although I think I should warn you to stay away from "Chuck" DVD covers before you watch, because it will give this aspect of the show away.

I like how your mind works!.

That's lovely of you to say. I know some people don't like to be given spoilers, so I thought I'd play it safe.
