Oops!. This is why I need to do a rewatch. Sometimes my brain cannot absord the content of the story in one go.
I never catch everything on first view. Like, ever. Wish I had time to watch it more than I do...

Maybe it's related to the Twelth Doctor being refered to as a "magician" and will be explained later on.
I think it's very much related to him being a magician, and I don't think it'll be explained at all. :)

How many times has the TARDIS exploded recently?.
Well, this time it was the HADS. So perfectly consistent with in-show rules. Even so, you're right. It does explode a fair bit.

River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

The cups came with the tea?...Lame answer I know. I can't picture Daleks even making a cup of tea like they did in "Victory Of the Daleks".
Yeah, wrong planet. Although... I shall have to rewatch the first Dalek story (with the 1st Doctor). They had trays and everything then.

As for Colony Sarf, I refused to pay attention to his scenes because the character creeped me out.
Ah, but it was only referred to in passing:

DAVROS: Colony Sarff confiscated these items on your arrival.
(Davros goes to a box on a small table, containing the sunglasses & the confession dial.)

How can the Doctor be over the sonic screwdriver!
Well because of bb!Davros. Mind you, he never took to it like Eleven. Eleven's was like a part of him, like the bow tie, or the braces. Twelve just uses it as a tool. I hope he gets his own, or... something. I don't think he'll stick with the glasses in the long term.

The sonic sunglasses remind me of the Intersect Glasses from the show "Chuck". Not that's a bad thing, just saying.
I am not familiar with that show, but it sounds good.

Also - hi! Welcome to. Have a cuppa. :)
