Well, I can never seem to wrap a blanket all around my legs/feet without there being gaps and a small icey breeze through those gaps. So a mermaid tail, done in a tighter stitch than triple crochet, maybe Half-double, and in a blanket yarn? Seems like it'd be a good answer.

And those fancy electric ones don't go up high enough, my cold feet seem to start at the knees.
