Oh, sorry. He. Sean. Pleased to meet you. (Extends hand, realizes he is in cyberspace and retrieves it.)
Hey, I'll happily shake your cyber hand! Did I never give you an official welcome? It involved telling you to make yourself at home, and tea & biscuits are always available. :)

“Enevarim” is a masculine name, but fair point, it’s a masculine name in a language that I started to invent a long time ago.

Ah. Well it's hard to tell, esp around here where defaulting to the female is the norm... By all which waffle I mean that it's nice to meet you too. :)

And yes, it was (known) AU intersecting with (known) canon that puzzled me, and now I’ve got an even weirder vision of Gallifrey popping into or out of existence depending on whether it is Missy or the Seeker who is talking in this fic. Quite possibly time to step away from the keyboard...
LOL. I think we'll just leave Gallifrey where it is for the moment... (Although speaking of Gallifrey I feel duty-bound to rec Galimaufrey by [livejournal.com profile] the_redjay which is set post A Good Day, is Roda-centered and (within a cracking story of its own) deal with the DotD reveal. Don't feel obliged to read or anything, but I just wanted to point it out.) ETA2: Also this will be part of a longer series of fics, and will make more sense in context.

Loved this too. She is a weird mad combination of stone-cold brilliant and utterly bananas, isn’t she? And when she says it explicitly (“good point, well made ... but did I mention? Bananas?”) it undercuts itself, but when she just proves it, like this, it’s chilling.
She is aware that she is mad, and uses that knowledge to achieve brilliance. I think that's what makes it so unsettling. The fact that she knows, and that she pretty much considers it an asset. ETA: Oooh, it's the Hannibal Lechter factor. 'I am stone cold brilliant and rational, and now I will proceed to eat your face!'

Sometimes she is visibly too mad to be let out alone, or even apparently to function, and other times she is able to conceal it.
Mind you, it makes her fascinating to write.
