I just felt like joining in the choir of 'Thank God it's back!' and 'I can't believe how addicted I am' (well I rely on you to entertain me, life is boring without LJ). I missed you all! ::hugs flist::
Did get a lot of work done in the house though, which was nice. And even squeezed in a few fics. And since I have nothing interesting to say, I'll point you in their direction. Both by Kalima (and you probably know them already):

Anyway, have decided to do a lot of copy-and-paste-jobs of my favourite posts and fics (as in other people's stuff), just in case...

Yes, I was kicking myself yesterday for not doing just that. I used to be quite good about it in my early internet days, so much so that when my old computer died the only thing that I'd backed up was my fanfic collection! All the useful RL stuff vanished into the ether and the fanfic was saved. Shows what my priorities are *g*.

Hehehehehe! When my husband re-booted the Mac in the summer, I was terrified that he'd lost 'Play It Again, Sam' (only about 2/3 finished, but re-writing 10000 words? Arrrgh!). I had a printed out copy though (better safe and all that) - but oh! The fear! ;)

And I'm not sure cheery is really the right word... it's really hard finding songs that are right, because the relationship was so complicated by then (I keep coming across ones that be perfect for s6...), but I've got around 10 now, so that should be enough, even if I don't uncover any more! :)

Yeah, amazing what gets done when one isn't on the computer. My problem tends to be the opposite. I make myself do other stuff first before I get on LJ 'cause I know I won't get the other stuff done if I LJ first. So then the other stuff ends up taking all evening and I never get on LJ. But right now I'm blowing off my math homework to LJ instead!
