Zzzzzz

I am so *bored*! And I can't even just sit down and read fanfic because it's Bank Holiday and everyone is here and I get looks whenever I'm on the computer. *sigh* Actually Darcy took the children (minus baby of course) to a gala (fair) in the park earlier on, so I managed to get the house sort-of tidy again after the weekend, but I am SO tired of clearing up.

Sorry, I'll stop grumbling and instead bring you a few recs:

For those of us who always fancied reading Dracula, but never got that far, [livejournal.com profile] dracula1897 might be just the thing:
Dracula is an epistolary novel (meaning that it's written as a series of documents; usually letters, here everything from letters to diary entries to newspaper clippings). On this community, they'll be appearing on the day they're dated, starting with Jonathan Harker's first journal entry on the 3rd of May. The novel finishes in November, so we've got about six months.
Have a look!

And for all Spuffy writers out there [livejournal.com profile] awmp is having a ficaton Spuffy Snarkathon! Go sign up - please?

RL wise we've still not watched last weeks 'House' or 'Doctor Who' (might catch up tonight?), but have seen King Kong (fun - if utterly ridiculous in places - and could have been an hour shorter, at least) and 'The League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse' (saying that it was bizarre would be an understatement. Suffice to say that if you don't know the show you will be utterly lost!).

Ooh! I've read Dracula (a couple of times, actually), but that's a really neat idea.
