Wow. The Schism part was pretty striking. I shuddered when the Master said "Please." It just meant so much. It was great that you used Lucy's POV too, though she was observing so much and we only got her thoughts at the beginning of the end. Still—perfect frame for that scene.
The description at the beginning of the following scene was so very vivid, I could just picture it. Shivers. I simply adored how torn the Doctor was feeling about the whole process. And the huge importance of Gallifrey—the fact that it'd been so huge they had both run away from it, but now it was gone and nothing could replace it. And trusting that old ritual, trusting his ancestors with the boy he cared about so much… That was so meaningful.
Alex's reaction was simply wonderful. His excitement and amazement and glee were so moving. I loved the name "the Seeker", and the Doctor's reaction was very moving as well. ♥ Alex just couldn't stop thinking and talking—it was simply dizzying… It was like he could do absolutely anything. Amazing but a little frightening.
Mmmm, did you write that epilogue? I'll probably have a look at that Big Brother story in the meantime…
