I know I have comments to reply to, but...
I'm sure you've all heard the news about Doctor Who now - how there'll be no series in 2009 because Tennant will be doing Shakespeare instead. The upside is of course that Tennant obviously wants to continue as Ten, which fact is cheering me muchly. Also, of course, there are macros. The best one I've seen so far is this one - I really do adore the Who-fandom:

And since I'm here, a couple of fic recs:
moodfic wrote Sugar This Up (Martha Jones & family). A moving look at their life post-S3.
Andselenak wrote a fabulous Torchwood/Dr Who/DS9 crossover: Nowhere Man (only one character from DS9, and he's easily googleable). Spoilers for S3 of DW and S1 of Torchwood (obviously), but if you're up-to-date you should really, really go read. Proves perfectly how Torchwood has endless untapped potential.
